MCC cosmetics cannot be claimed after the initial pop-up

The items should be claimed regardless of whether you actually clicked the Claim button or not. Does the issue persist after some time has passed and after restarting the application?

As per my report here. MCPE-184469

I have fully reset my device, fully logged off, and have even attempted to go beyond the requirements of the challenge.

And a recent check on my account 13 hours later. I am still lacking the "Cyan Coyotes Head".

Edit: Over 24 hours later, still no unlock. So waiting is 100% not the solution.

I had this issue, but I logged in today and it has been fixed.

I'm not certain if it was a patch or if they just took significantly longer.

Minor update: So unlocking a different item doesn't trigger the item you are missing to appear.

So I just unlocked the "MCC Crown" headwear and also the Cape.

But as per my previous comments, I am still missing the "Cyan Coyotes Head". As I have the cape now, that proves I have indeed done the requirements.

So it seems the item grant trigger was skipped at some stage, either via server issue, not pressing "Claim", or something we are not aware of.

Whatever the case may be. We just have zero way to resend the trigger to unlock the item.

Time unfortunately doesn't solve the issue for everyone, as this has been around 5 days for me.

I am sure i have pressed Claim when I finished all the challenges 10 hours ago. The problem is somewhere else, I think. I restarted, relogged, did the challenges over again, I don't think there is a fix right now. Please address this soon 🙂

And apparently I didn't get the Cyan Coyotes Head as well, as it was my last challenge. I have done it 2 times over what I should and still no cape or head. I will fiddle around and try to find out more. But I still don't think that this is caused by the Claim pop-up, as I have gotten the Crown with no problems.

A solution to this bug might be the addition of a challenge reset button. I would happily do a challenge, or even every challenge if I get to have my cape in the end. Just saying the most shotgun solution to this, as I hope someone is working to fix it before the end.

My last challenge was the yellow yaks, I died in Meltdown, claimed the yaks head, then got the ppup for the cape. I screenshotted it with Windows's screen snip, went back to minecraft and the popup was gone. Went to equip it and it wasn't in the character creator. 

Interestingly, the hats that i got today also didn't show up, so I hope I didn't lose the cape.

Restarting the game right now.

I did all the challenges finishing by the frog mystery. I had the crown pop-up but the cape pop-up never appeared...

I have the same problem. I think I was clicking too fast coming out of Grid Runners, so I didn't claim the Green Geckos hat. I still don't have the hat, and I never got the pop-up for the cape, either, even though that was my last challenge.

Additionally, me and my cousin were playing our survival world, and she, who hasn't even JOINED the MCC server has the capes routes texture when flying. When we went to the cape menu, she didn't have it.

Should NoxCrew be contacted instead of Mojang? It will take much longer for Mojang to roll out a patch than NoxCrew to update the server they made, wouldn't it? They have previously offered support in this. Do they have a place where you could report bugs? Though I doubt they don't know about this issue. Might not be much help.

"Good news for you: once the event ends, they’ll be doing a manual rollout of any rewards that should be unlocked, but aren’t. So you’ll get your rewards, either way, even if they have to be delayed a bit"

Found another one from an actual Noxcrew person:

"[...] If that also doesn't work, don’t worry - we’ve had some backend issues with granting this many players this much stuff, but we're keeping a log of who’s earned what and will be manually reconciling them after the event, so you’ll get any items you’re missing."

So they are fully aware of the bug and now I'm even guiltier for bothering them.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but all that happened was losing all of the cosmetics I got during the event...

Just added an image showing that the items were indeed granted. (In my case the Cyan Coyotes Head)

No idea why "all" the old images were removed as showing the issue was good in the event this needed to be reviewed if a similar issue happens down the road. (Like keeping a handful of this issue in action may have been useful)
