Steps to Reproduce:
Enable the new UI option in the game
In Settings > Video, enable Screen Animations and Improved Input Response and set the Framerate Limit slider to Unlimited
Open the Play screen
Press the Esc key or the back button

This issue seems to be reproduced at MCPE-189262 which is reported as affecting the 1.21.51 Hotfix.
It Still is Here but it Seems to Happen very less Likely in The Newer Preview Version (1.21.60.24) them in 1.21.50.28/29

From my testing, I've only been able to reproduce this in 1.21.51 and doesn't appear to be an ongoing issue in the latest preview/beta as far as I can tell.Β
To reproduce this:
Click the "Profile" button on the menu screen.
Pres the ESC button or click the arrow button to go back to the main menu.
