All lantern types, all torches, and end rod no longer have point lights in Ray Traced graphics mode

As of latest preview with the introduction of new point light schema for Vibrant Visuals, the pointlights for copper torches and copper lanterns which were present in earlier previews are no longer there.

I’ve attached a resource pack called ”rt-pointlight-test.mcpack” that intentionally removes the texture sets for the blocks we want to test for, this is ideal when checking for point lights since we don’t want emissive textures to be mistaken for a point light:
All candle colors/on/off
All torch variants
All lantern variants

Simply enable ray tracing after activating the pack and check out copper torches and copper lanterns, unlike other/older light sources, they don’t have a point light.

This is not the intended behavior because they previously had a point light in 1.21.110 Previews, and they only broke now with recent 1.21.120 Preview (Evidence attached)

CRITICAL UPDATE:
With the release of Minecraft 1.21.120.21 Preview, ALL POINT LIGHTS have stopped working in ray tracing graphics mode (as far as I’ve tested)
This issue no longer impacts just the newer copper torch and copper lanterns or soul torch, all items that previously had point lights have now lost their point lights as of latest preview.

It doesn't just happen in ray Ray Traced graphics mode. this is torches and lanterns in Vibrant Visuals:

Copper torches, copper lanterns, candles and soul torches have not any point light in the Windows platform.

But everything is right in Android:

Thanks so much @NaCIO4 for the additional info, I overlooked Vibrant Visuals, this indeed affects both graphics modes since the first 1.21.120 Preview rolled out.

It would be amazing if RTX recieved default point lights for all of these items the same as Vibrant Visuals, even if it isn’t data driven for RTX yet.

To help us identify and reproduce any issues, would you be able to provide more detailed information about the hardware/devices you are using please?

I’ve tested on a PC
Windows 11 24H2 Update (Latest)
CPU i9-14900k
GPU RTX 4090, latest drivers

As well as a laptop (which is also running latest Windows 11) same issue persists there.

I think this issue impacts at the very least the Windows platform as a whole with the point light profile/configuration for the platform being incomplete.

With the release of 1.21.120.21 Preview, this issue now impacts all blocks that previously had point lights, not just the newer ones like copper torches/lanterns.

still works for me. HOL UP COPPER TORCHES AND LANTERNS???

I think I had the same problem. If you break the torches and other light sources and replace them it seems to fix it for that particular light source. I reported this too. MCPE-228347

This issue has been marked as resolved, but it still affects ray tracing.

All point lights remain broken.

Respectfully, I think this issue should be reopened, it still affects ray tracing which is why I originally reported it.

Turns out it impacted Vibrant Visuals as well, it was fixed for Vibrant Visuals, but not yet for ray tracing.

Just tested the recent Preview update (1.21.130.28) and though torch lights and end rods are working, a lot of the lantern type blocks, glow stone and campfires still don’t work.
