The latest patch of Minecraft which is version 1.21.120 fails to update on devices with the Microsoft Store. This could be with the version not yet being deployed to the Microsoft Store.
When checking the Microsoft Store it does not come up with the update and looking at the product page it states the last update was October 16th 2025

I’m experiencing this error as well, and it’s been a few days since the update. I don’t feel that I should need to uninstall the game, and lose all of my data in the process, in order to update it.
@PM - would you be able to check your Microsoft Store for updates? This might need to be repeated to allow the update to show:
Open the Windows Start Menu
Search for and open the Microsoft Store
Check that you are signed in with the correct account
Click the Updates and Downloads icon near the bottom left
Click Check for Updates
Repeat steps 1 to 5 if needed
This should allow you to download and update to the latest version. If you are still having issues please let us know.
i had this exact problem on windows 10, except i did end up deleting and re installing. however now i cannot log into my account at all on bedrock and when opening the launcher i have to re sign in every time even if i have signed in already. i have made a longer report saying exactly what happened .
Since a delayed update on Windows was already anticipated in the changelog (see Mega_Spud’s comment below), this is not a valid issue for the bug tracker. Resolving as Invalid.
If you still are not able to update the game you may make a new report. However, please note that the bug tracker does not have access to your account and cannot provide technical support.
Same problem on Win 10. Not updating to 1.21.120 so cannot join realm.
No available way to update in PC. Please fix
