Pack validation shows missing dependency

I'm having the same problem. When creating the manifest for my pack, I generate new UUIDs for the header and module sections and then match the dependency UUID to the header UUID because I don't know what else to make it dependent on. I also tried matching the module UUID to the dependency UUID, I tried leaving the dependency UUID blank, and I tried removing the dependency section altogether. Nothing worked. I feel like my problems might be because I'm rubbish at coding (please do tell me what I'm doing wrong if so), but I don't think that's the case, because the pack worked completely fine in almost all the cases I described.

Same problem as me, but i use my own created behavior pack, instead it make the world crash when I try to load it. And it says missing dependencies that have been clearly written in the manifest.json file.

The trick didn't work in my add-on though

edit: The trick is installing your add-on to the behavior file in the world, so minecraft doesn't need to check your validity of your add-on

Still an issue in 1.16.210.53 Beta.

an issue in 1.17.40. tried to use a trident crafting recipe, works fine except it bugs me about missing a dependency

still an issue as it says 'missing dependency' and i personally don't have any lag, but everything from the addon is either invisible or doesn't show up at all even when the pack is activated.

Still an issue in 1.18.2
