Can't jump at y=1 in creative or survival

It is not working for superflat?

Can't go up when below y level 3

But can with /tp, /effect  and Bubble columns

So this just happened to me today and here's a list of what didn't work trying to get above Y=1:

• Can't jump or auto-jump (obviously)

• Can't walk up half-blocks (slabs)

• Can't climb ladders

Also, when in this predicament, if gravel or sand falls on the player it glitch-pushes them through the bedrock layer below and causes them to fall out of the world & die.

I got stuck at Y:1 also... I was mining a long tunnel and found diamond at [y:1]... went down to grab it but my jumping was disabled and i couldn't swim up and out either... only way was to bring a second character with a ender pearl and gave it to my stuck character in-order to escape...

You can use ender pearls or chorus fruit to pass the y=1 level.

I also had this problem, and I guess I still do.  I watched a video where the guy killed himself with gravel, so I had some gravel and I did the same.  I too was pushed through the bedrock to underneath the world and died, with no chance to get any of my items back.  I was careful when going back not to go too low on the Y level, but after digging out the sand none of my items were there.  There was no lava around, so not possible my items got burnt up.  I guess I could copy the world and go creatvie mode to se if my items are udner the bedrock, but what would that prove?  I still cannot get the items back in Survival mode, so who really cares?

Just sucks that this is the 2nd glitch/big that has resulted in me losing everything.  I can accept if I mess up and I lost my stuff, but when it is not my fault it stings more to relaize I lost everything, which for my was nice enchanted diamond pickaxes... 😞

Fixed in the latest beta

This was probably caused by the fix to that bug where players would fall at 60k or so blocks away from spawn, which got reverted (and this bug no longer happens)
