Account Error Number -3

I just started having the issue today. My scribbly cake account has the problem. But if i load in on my other account it goes away. Its weird.

No need to uninstall the game, in fact we do not recommend uninstalling the game if you are on Win 10, Android, iOS- we are fixing this on the backend. If you are still seeing this, please contact our support team at http://help.minecraft.net

Still seeing this on Nintendo Switch, if I wait a bit it goes away. Tried the link to help.minecraft.net but don’t know where to go from there.

I am experiencing similar issues (like resource packs not working). It could also be related to other issues people have been reporting, such as no capes tab in the character creator (I couldn't find out which ticket was the main one, so I referred to this report on all of the tickets I found: MCPE-58205, MCPE-58203, MCPE-58201, MCPE-58183, MCPE-58171 and several more).

If you are on a VPN disable it
On ios if you are on a VPN you cant access the marketplace

Yes! We have been seeing this on the Nintendo Switch for weeks, and my son is close to despair.

So..., after the latest update there was no error screen, but my son's world had disappeared completely. Not corrupted, just gone. Thanks?

Being the same problem with Minecraft on both my son's and my daughter's iPads. We even tried reinstalling Minecraft on my son's iPad.

Same issue on Nintendo Switch.  Hoping this starts getting worked on quickly. Very frustrating.

Just made my son a Microsoft account and now market place has stopped working

I can’t get a lot of minecoins

Having the same isaue on my nintendo switch. Error number -9. Cant play the game, keeps crashing after strart.

Still getting Error -9

Apparently it’s specific to my psn, iOS doesn’t show it? iOS can use marketplace, items from it. But not the PS4 :/

Can’t even unlink accounts, only sign in and out (then again that would throw another error about trying to sign in but failing)

Just pinged Support on email hoping they fix this

We currently think that error -9 is due to not having a stable internet connection while attempting to sign in. We have better error handling for this rolling out with the summer update. Could you check your wifi or cell coverage connection and see if that resolves it?

it happens every time I try to sign in to Minecraft on my PS4 but it’s only on the PS4, but  on my iPad I can sign in it’s just my PS4 and I don’t have any friends unfortunately so I don’t know if it signs in on their PS4 ether sorry

I have error 0 on Xbox one

This bug is back in the 1.16.61 beta. It's on the Xbox one edition. Marketplace still works perfectly fine on windows 10. I don't know about android.
