Summary:
When placing dirt path & farmland between 2 blocks above and below, the dirt path won't convert into dirt.
Steps to reproduce: (for Dirt Path)
Place blocks at the top and bottom of a 3 block column, leaving the middle block space empty.
Place a dirt path block in the middle space.
Steps to reproduce: (for Farmland)
Go to underwater / Sea
Place blocks at the top and bottom of a 3 block column, leaving the middle block space empty.
Place a Farmland block in the middle space
Expected results:
Dirt path & Farmland block turns into dirt.
Observed results:
Dirt path & Farmland block does not convert to dirt.

Definitely something screwy going on here:

This is also an issue when pushing/pulling them under a block using a piston.
[media]When the dirt path/farmland reveives a block update, then it will convert to dirt.
