PlayStation won't stay logged in to Microsoft account

Happening on the Switch ANY time you have to close the game, which with all the freezing issues, is pretty often.

I have the same problem here on my Switch.
I often need to enter another time the code spend by the game here -> https://aka.ms/remoteconnect
and several time during 10min or more before it's work.
It's happend almost all the time what I try to connect my game to my Microsoft account.

This issue happens on my wifes lenovo tab 3 850f the game takes a while to sign in and pops up with an error.

My Nintendo switch keeps freezing and crashing when opening/closing the app. If I walk away from my game and the system sleeps or if I attempt to close the software to play a different game.

The switch will either freeze on Minecraft or it will freeze on the main switch screen after selecting close application. I am then forced to hard reset my switch. It’s a painful experience because you can clearly hear the switch shutting off like an old TV would. I can’t imagine that this is good for my switch.

Furthermore, I don’t understand why the app doesn’t keep my Microsoft login information. I have to log in each time I want to play by using my phone and going to aka.ms/remoteconnect and even sometimes that will freeze Minecraft and the switch. I don’t get it. It all began with 16.2, I believe. It’s frustrating to see that these issues are resolved when they clearly aren’t. 

Playing Minecraft on console is such a pain isn’t it, I don’t own any console but it seem like it’s pretty buggy there, why don’t Minecraft Legacy Console stop being a thing, they could focus on a specific platform and there would be less bug, that’s why make this game a cross-platform is stupid

Mine forces a re-login to the Microsoft account every time, which requires another device to go to the website.  This is a big deal since my son isn't old enough to log in on a laptop or ipad as well as a switch.  The only thing I can contribute is that this started happening right around the time of the 1.16.21 upgrade and roughly the same time he started login in on more than one device.

I have this same problem on Nintendo Switch. At least the game doesn’t crash on Switch anymore, but having to login like this every time is getting irritating.

Same issue on the Switch (lite). My husband who has a regular Switch does not seem to constantly have the issue. Also, it will ask me where I want purchases for the game to be saved (MS account or my device) and will NOT let me choose MS account and sign in. It keeps giving me the remoteconnect code. Doing save to this device just repeats the other option. It starts doing the sign in problem is I "idle" the game by going out of it (not save and exit) in order to sort of pause it. Currently can not sign in after finally getting it to work a couple of days ago.

Switch Issue as well here.

I select login, and select Save to Microsoft account (the other option to save locally just loops back).  I then have to use another device to go to aka.ms/remoteconnect and enter the code.

I get a login successful email confirmation from Microsoft, from 15-30 seconds or so later I'm back at the main screen of Minecraft (where you can select Play or Settings) but then the Microsoft account gets kicked out about 10 seconds after that.

Subsequent logins work the same way, authenticate with the code, logged in, then booted. 

If I clear account data under settings>profile I still have to exit the game, and relaunch. one or two tries after that it sticks.  Alternatively I can clear the saved profile data, exit Minecraft, hard reboot the switch and then it will work first attempt. Hard rebooting takes forever, likely not good for the switch either, and my son cannot do any of the above on his own which really makes it difficult.

I’m having the same issue with my sons Switch ~ sometimes it’ll let me remote connect after putting the code in once, other times I have to try literally 25 codes before it’ll let me connect to his account ~ this is so frustrating!!

I see duplicate tickets referencing the Nintendo Switch (which is where I'm experiencing the issue) but the description for this ticket only mentions the PS4 platform.  Is this ticket really intended to cover both platforms?

We are also seeing this issue on the Nintendo Switch, this happens literally EVERY time my son goes to play. I have upvoted, but please escalate this issue.  I don't know if it is related but all of his Marketplace purchases are also missing, as it asks every time where you want to save the purchases before making you sign in, could this be related?

Exactly the same problem as some have described above on the Switch - it keeps disconnecting from the Microsoft account, and I have to use sign in link for Microsoft, but get kicked out of the Microsoft account almost immediately. Last attempt took 13 times before it "stuck" but it kicked out again later in the day. My son is too young to do this on his own and it's very frustrating that he can't play Minecraft with his friends.

I have the same issue, except it is every-other boot-up, and sometimes, it will fail to sign in. I am on the Windows 10 edition.

1.16.40 Bedrock patch lists in the release notes as fixing:

•  Fixed the Microsoft account sign-in screen repeatedly appearing after losing internet connection on Nintendo Switch (MCPE-95651)

• Fixed account linking occurring every time the game is launched after playing another game on PlayStation 4

• Fixed an issue with the account sign-in button becoming unresponsive after backing out of the sign-in prompt screen

• Fixed a number of crashes on iOS devices (MCPE-96184)

So fingers crossed this is sorted!

1.16.40 patch installed.  We are still seeing this issue on the Switch with multiple sign in's required, it is reporting something went wrong quicker though.

I have to enter the code give by the game each time I want to being connected and several time in a row for nothing.

1.16.40 installed on the switch. restarted the switch, opened up minecraft, tried to sign in to no avail..........eventually got signed in........loaded a world and it wouldn't render all the blocks! Definitely not resolved.

I am having the same trouble. But since I'm on the switch, I can't stay signed in to my Nintendo account, either! Somehow, I'm having less trouble with my Microsoft account now, but I'm still having a lot of trouble!😞

It is difficult to check to see if the problem is there each time.  I need to log out, unlink and log in again every time I play the game. That takes a long time.  Is there a simple way to check that it is necessary every time?

Still a reoccurring issue in 1.19.81 - Gets signed out after relogging Minecraft while being signed in to Microsoft Account on the PlayStation 4 Edition of Minecraft

It's happening to PS4's bedrock and PS4 Edition both still. I'm constantly running for my phone or to my PC so I can "sign in" only to get unlinked again as soon as I relaunch the game. I'm hamilaplayzmc (all lowercase) for PS4 and OhRatz 3120 on my Microsoft XBOX gamertag. Not only do I get logged out again and go from "OhRatz 3120" back to "hamilaplayzmc" but my current Dressing Room outfit is completely reset across all my platforms.

EDIT: (Note that my Java tag is "HamilaPlayzMC" and not all lowercase.)

I try to sign in with https://aka.ms/remoteconnect and the SIGN IN button both from the store and my settings, but it is still recurring.

Please, please, please fix this. I got PS+ purely to play Minecraft because I had hoped the issue was gone. Nope. I still get booted. HELP!

This is also a problem for me on PS5.
