Hi @unknown can you try creating a new world and see if you can find Ocelots?

The bug you are experiencing may be more specific than no ocelots at all. It may be that the world you are looking in was created before Ocelots were added to the game, or more specifically, the chunks in which you were searching were generated when the game had a version earlier than 0.12.1 (when Ocelots were added) and for some reason they are not spawning in those chunks now. This is still a bug, but a different kind of bug than Ocelots not spawning at all. I've even seen that particular bug, but I think it was for slimes or rabbits, not for ocelots. I wouldn't be surprised if it affects Ocelots and other new mobs too.

Let us know so we can update the ticket.

I was told to add my information here as it's apparently considered a duplicate, even though my issue is on a different system and version. This is the ticket I had made but it's also linked above now https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-12104
It's happening for me on the Windows 10 version 0.13.0 too, on different seeds and worlds. Since all those worlds I tried were created in said version the mentioned issue of it being related to an older world created in an older version of the game doesn't apply.

I have seen one ocelot in my survival world.
The World was created in 0.13.0 and I have see the ocelot in version 0.13.1
I think they spawn but the spawn rate is extremely low.
I haven't seen ocelots in other world's.

I'm inclined to agree that there seems to be a bug with Ocelot generation in 0.13.1 regardless of when the world's jungle chunks were created. Can someone make a chicken farm in a jungle and stand around holding fish for a while? jk.

Playing on Win 10 Version 0.13.1 and have had plenty of ocelots spawning. Remember you need the difficulty set higher than the minimum (they won't spawn in on peaceful)

The seed I'm playing is -821721826

There is a jungle at coordinates x:8381 y:93 z:-459 (You can travel directly south of spawn)

My savegame is over 200mb currently so I can't upload it easily I'm afraid.

Edit: I've just loaded the same seed on my Samsung Android device, and have searched the same area of jungle in survival 'Hard Mode' and haven't found a single ocelot.

With my 3rd party app on said device I can view all entities, and there aren't any ocelots in the area.

This leads me to think that perhaps they are spawning correctly on the Windows 10 edition, but not on the Android version.

Thanks for the seed. I've spent a lot of time there now but not a single ocelot was seen on 10.3.1 Win 10 version. This is such a weird issue.

I just loaded a fresh map with that seed, switched to creative, and flew to the jungle. Found an ocelot within about 10 minutes (screenshot attached). I must admit I expected to see more of them, so not sure if the rate is low, but then again they're not easy to spot and tend to run away 😉

Windows 10 Edition, 0.13.1 , Difficulty on highest.

At least I can say they spawn in 0.13.1 but it's was very rare.

I haven't found a Ocelot in version 0.14.0 (all builds)
I'm using the seed: HonkyHonking
The player starts on a big Island but you can find a very big Jungel - biome across the ocean and on the maximum render distance you can see the other Jungel biome from the starting island.

Can confirm, in 0.16.1 no ocelots seem to spawn, even in a 2,000+ block sized jungle. I looked everywhere, double checked, triple checked, stayed in the area for a couple of hours, difficulty set to 'Hard', no signs of ocelots anywhere. I think it's similar to how Strays didn't spawn in snowy biomes before they were fixed.

Just tested in 0.16.1. Seed was: AUS

I typed the command: /tp @e @p - This teleports all of the entities in the area to your position; several ocelots were included. (The area included is limited, so move around if trying this command)

As has been said before, they are rare and might take some time to find.
