I’m still having this issue occur as of 1.21.124. Here’s another updated description since its very easy for me to reproduce right now.

Description - Using the F11 key or full screen toggle will crash the game.

Steps to reproduce the issue - Open the game (You can use the taskbar or launcher, both will cause the issue to occur.) Make sure that you are in windowed mode and click over to another program/window. Click back onto Minecraft Bedrock and then hit F11.

Expected result - Entering full screen mode.

Actual result - The game will crash.

Also have the issue still as of 1.21.124. The ALT+TAB workaround is also still gone.

I hadn’t! Just now tried it. That also didn’t fix the issue unfortunately. Tried running it again to be sure and still nothing.

I’ve done a little bit of digging into into the bugs fixed in 1.21.120 and found a one that may be related. It’s MCPE-227839. Maybe the fix for it caused the issue I’m having?

Still broken as of 1.21.123. The alt+tab workaround is also no longer working.

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, it didn’t work. Tried to run it, repair it, uninstall and reinstall it.

I’ve been trying to get a completely fresh install of Minecraft to get a new installer but the game doesn’t seem to fully uninstall. I’m wondering if there’s some leftover file somewhere that is messing with my inputs.

I’m pretty much out of ideas on what I can do on that end though. I’ve uninstalled or deleted all of the Minecraft related files that I can find and reinstalled them. Issue continues to persist despite it

Yep, still is an issue. The alt+tab workaround also still works. I alt+tabbed at the beginning to start the recording. It immediately stops working once any other action is preformed.

Copied over the dxdiag information. Here it is:

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19045) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
BIOS: V1.06 (type: UEFI)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz (12 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM Available OS Memory: 16220MB RAM

As for more information about the issue, it started after the Microsoft Store automatically updated Minecraft to 1.21.120. This seemed to try and migrate all of my old game files to the new location but it only seemed to half-work, since it left behind the ‘TmpMinecraftLocalState’ file. Not sure if that has anything to do with the bug, since everything else seems to be working fine, but I remembered that and figured that I should mention it. The alt+tab workaround does work for me as well.

If you need anymore information, please let me know!

Hey, thanks for getting back to me! I don’t have any media I can really give you aside from the clips I have already posted.

To answer your questions -

Does this issue still occur in game with no modifications? Yes, it still persists.

Did the issue occur only once, or does it happen all the time? All the time. It used to be sporadic in the last preview.

Have you tried reinstalling launcher and Minecraft Game?

Yes, this was the first thing that I attempted. I’ve also tried updating drivers for everything and using two different physical keyboards. Nothing.

Could you please include details about your device and system (RAM, CPU, GPU spec)?

Sure, here it is. Installed RAM - 16.0 GB, Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design (8 GB), Intel(R) UHD Graphics

Have you tried updating Windows, if it is possible for your device?

I’ve checked since I’m currently enrolled for extended security updates. Aside from Windows 11, there are no current updates.

I’ve managed to consistently reproduce the crash and have updated the bug report. Here are some clips that I took of the issue occurring.

Managed to recreate the issue. Seems to happen more often with fences but it also happens with regular blocks.
