Thanks Gruntastic! That's really helpful. Custom items is not currently behind Experimental on 1.16.40, is it just needed because it forces the beta to access the latest code?  (Want to make sure this is not going to be experimental when this beta ships.)

I did update the item version to "1.16.100" in testing and noticed no change.  I also added "category" using "items" as the value. I don't know the options. (I only found 4 different categories in the .appx file. Would be nice to have a complete list of options.)

I also added an entry for item.coin.name in the lang file and noticed no change.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached .mcworld file

Observed Results:

  • Note the coin item exists in the chest. I got this coin with the /give command in v1.16.40.

  • Note the name of the coin is item.coin.name.  (In v1.16.40 it was "Coin" because lang file has item.cleverlike:coin.name=Coin)  (I tried adding item.coin.name=Coin to lang file with no improvement)

  • I can not use the /give command to obtain this item. (I also tried adding "category": "items" in the description section and no improvement) all variations of the command failed... /give @s Coin, /give @s cleverlike:coin, /give @s item.coin.name

  • The /clear command  does not recognize the coin

  • The coin item does exist, in the chest.

  • When the coin item is dropped on the ground it does work in an entity target selector.  /kill @e[type=item,name=item.coin.name]  will successfully kill the coin.

Expected Results:

  • The custom item should include the namespace.  Should be item.cleverlike:coin.name  but is now item.coin.name

  • The item should work with the /give /clear /replaceitem commands.  These commands don't work with this custom item.

Can confirm that custom items are not obtainable via /give command in this 1.16.100.56 release.

I have experience this bug as well in Race to Respawn.  If I select a range > 1000, it causes lag that persists until the game is restarted.  If the Range is larger, the lag gets worse.

I also tried the command from 10,000 block away on the X and Z axis and it worked fine if the range was small.

To reproduce the issue, enter the command: /spreadplayers ~ ~ 1 5000 @s

(If you are in survival or adventure, you will likely die because the command doesn't quite work right, but I have implemented a workaround for this in-game)

NOTE: This lag problem is more pronounced on mobile and console platforms.  Windows 10 is able to handle it a little better, likely because of the CPU and RAM of the computer.

Same problem. MC Win10 0.16.2. I notice it when opening a .mcworld file. Sound volume is set to 2 and that seems to be ignored. When the game starts, it the sound volume seems to be at full volume. I have to edit the volume to have it go to the proper level.

BTW, Music volume is set to 0 and that works. I never hear music.
