Well, the alias for the screenshot was broken, so here's the actual screenshot.
The frame design works, and the eye orientation doesn't matter.
I THINK it has to do with how close it is to the bedrock layer. In that case, it's a whole different issue.

This tends to happen when the FPS rate is low, or on servers with a bit of lag.
Were you digging while the world was generating and the Slimes were taking over?
Still, even when you buy the game the "Alex" default skin appears 5 times more often than the Steve skin!
