Be sure that you don't have any behaviour packs active or that they are updated. With the new saturation values in the player entity file, if left at pre 1.18.30 values it will cause significantly faster food depletion.
Confirmed still an issue in 1.16.220
Yes, adjusting the render_offsets property can correct the items, however i beleive the default state of the custom items should be automatically adjusted down as they were before this property was introduced.
Think i've found the culprit, it's the new "minecraft:render_offsets" property that's causing issues. This doesn't seem to affect any items with a format version lower than 1.16.100 (needs more testing)
Hey all, i had this exact same issue with my headset (Sennheiser PC 363D) and found a solution within Windows.
Go to Settings > System > Sounds > Device Properties and turn on Spatial sound (Mine says 'Windows Sonic for Headphones') and now my audio issues in MC are gone.
Hope this workaround helps others.
It's the player.json in the entities folder. The previous saturation component has changed and there's a new component listing the saturation cost of actions. These must be updated if you're running any sort of behaviour pack.
