I have the same problem. I post videos with descriptions about the bug. But my report was checked as resolved and duplicate so I do not know if anyone would look at the problem.

I play minecraft on the Nintendo switch and it doesn't work, I used all tips from the Nintendo site and it doesn't work, can you help me pls.
I have the same issue but on the new, 1.14.3 update..I'm on a MAC aswell, weird cause for any other version, I never had this.
Yeah i copied the world from my server into my singleplayer. Than i checked all caves with gamemode spectator. I build the farm above an ocean. I also tried to kill all entities in Multiplayer. The only fix is to leave the chunks and come back to restart the spawning. But in Singleplayer i can just stay at my afk spot and it works fine. I also tested it with a local server because i thought its maybe due to my hosting provider but i got the same issue.
New non beta Version 1.5.0 from today and still no fix with the PureBD texture pack. - Win 10 Version
Win 10 - New Version from today (1.4.2) an still not fixed this bug. I paid money for the texture pack and its not realy useable
So new version from today (1.4.0) and still no fix for that bug ...
After the new update from today, the giant cocoa nuts are not fixed with HD texture packs...
