I’ve tried to recreate the bug, but I couldn’t recreate it. I tried to jump before it indeed stopped bouncing but nothing.

To ensure to get the claimed cape on ‘Java Edition’ as well, you would need to equip such cape on ‘Bedrock Edition’. Bare in mind to close ‘Bedrock Edition’ and restart the launcher. Could you try and report to me if this has been resolved?
Today I’ve tried to see if on my end this resulted into the same; I confirm that it also happened on my end. I would also want to specify that this also happens in the inventory slots as well.
