Hey this is still happening. I watched Minecraft Live but they didn't say anything about fixing or upgrading the Realms service. We haven't been able to play on our realms since 1.17 released. Chunks randomly revert back to new chunks and or the game will roll back and load an older save.
My Realm is still doing this so we closed it until this is resolved.
Is there any updates on when this will be fixed? We can't play on anyone's Realms anymore because this is happening to all of us and even with using a new world on the realm it still gets corrupted. Why isn't Realms shut down if it's just breaking peoples worlds at the moment?
It happens almost every day and I don't know how to keep it from happening so often.
My world on my realm gets corrupted chunks almost every time someone is playing on the realm between 1:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.
I also haven't seen the message pop up about the server restart come up. It's a completely vanilla world on my realm.
You should still have backups though right?
Okay my world keeps corrupting and it just hit 4 GB idk what to do.
I own a Realm and almost every night I have to use a backup because of corrupted chunks.
This is happening to my Realm daily
We just experienced this on our realm
It's still happening to my Realm we can't do anything about it
I don't know my realms main survival world is still being eaten by world corruption
My world is definitely corrupt just went to the end and it looks like a checker board. It started in the Nether when 1.16.1 came out now it's spread all over the place. Idk what to do about it. All backups before I found the corrupted chunks now have them. Realms backups is the same thing.
So I should come back here if I start to see new corruption then? My world is about to be 4GB and I've had it for a little over 5 years. Idk how long the corrupted chunks are but I'll be back here if we notice any new corruption I guess.
This is how we found it. We walked across the Nether highway and stopped at a base to save and quit for the night. The next morning we all hopped back on and started to take the highway back only to find a giant line of chunk errors was blocking our way back home. Now any backup that I try has these new chuck errors. If it isn't going to spread further then wouldn't it be okay to keep playing on it on 1.16.2?
All of my backups from 1.16.1 all have the same chunk errors in the Nether though. So should we just keep playing on the world even though there's a giant line of new chunks going across my Nether highway since the chunk errors won't reach out further/spread?
This is still happening in version 1.16.2 just checked my realm and we still have a giant line on chunk errors going through our Nether idk what to do.
How did you resolve it?
Hey yeah so this happened on my Realm. How do I fix it? I have a bunch of backups but should I just wait for a fix to reopen the Realm on a backup that hasn't loaded the corrupted chunks yet? This is the first time I've had this happen so idk what to do and my world is 3.9 GB.
My Realms survival world is 6 years old and is 4.6GB or so in size. I think we are having the same problems with Realms and I'm just looking for some help or even just some kind of updates on this issue. Ever since 1.17 I've had to replace the world with a backup almost 50 or so times within a month because of corrupted chunks and ended up closing it because it's just unplayable at this point. This isn't the first time corrupted chunks appeared on my Realms survival world. 1.17 and up has just been the most recent and frequent occurrences. During Minecraft Live they mentioned old worlds not being left behind but that's exactly what this year has felt like for my friends and myself. I honestly don't know how all that new generation underneath the old generation is going to effect my old survival world and I'm clearly getting close to 5GB in size for it. I'm just basically asking what my options are because it looks like I am running out of them?
