I have 1.11.3 This happened to me. I was lucky enough to get a mending librarian. I had to move his lectern over one space because I was building. This was never a problem when I had to move other villagers' workstations but when I was finished his trades changed, the book was Fortune I. Bye-bye mending. Moving the lectern some more doesn't change his trades they're locked just as I expected, they only changed after I moved it the first time.
EDIT: I tried closing the world and opening it again but no change. Still Fortune I.
Yes, I just tried this out. I have one tame rabbit, and I put it in a pen while I wandered my settlement. It stays put alright but when I pass through any of the doors to enter my shelter the rabbit is sitting there saying hi.
I have an update. I quit and re-opened my game. I guess the random wandering was due to normal roaming when near the wolf. I started the wolf following me by walking a little further ahead of it, and it follows. However, when I get a certain distance away from the wolf, it stops and just stands there. If I inch closer, there is a certain distance where the wolf will start walking toward me again. It's a lot like herding cattle with wheat, where they will follow you if you approach them with wheat, but if you get too far ahead of them they will stop.
My wolf behaves very strangely. I tamed some, and went back to my shelter 1,000 meters away and they were gone. I went back and found one. It was impossible to get it to follow escpecially across water, even without teleporting. Once it walked past me in the direction I was going. The wolf swam very slowly. Also, just as the wolf appeared to be halfway across the river it turned around. I pushed it out of the water and it jumped back in. It's like they don't know what they want to do. Until I get some leashes I decided to order the wolf to sit.
Same for me. Also when looking at chest contents, hitting E takes me to my inventory instead of just closing the chest.
It does make sense that hay bales cannot be converted into wheat. The grain is removed from the stalk at harvest, and the bales only consist of the straw. It wouldn't make sense to be able to craft edible food starting with a hay bale. Bale->wheat->bread. There's nothing that you can make bread out of in a bale. If its only use is to feed horses or use as building blocks I think it would be very realistic to life. It could be one of those items that is like tree trunks which cannot be converted back once turned into planks.
This is happening to me too. Even after I scroll to the bottom of the page and change to English it has no effect whatsoever it always keeps going back to Japanese if I try to navigate ANYWHERE. I'm on Google Chrome.
