it's happening to me with 13w22a

West is the right side of the image

It's a directional bug as you can see in the world upload, but i don't know if it's related with the pistons. If it is, you can close this ticket ^^
It probably is, because it happens with piston/dispenser

But it only happens if I put the redstone after the repeater :/

Now I've tested with a piston and it happens too

Well, I'm pretty sure they have more important things that really need to be fixed

Sphax: The same for the cauldron... If cauldrons should vanish fire (I think it's totally pointless), lava bucket should burn because when you throw a bucket at lava it burns!
And BTW, why you want the cauldron vanishing entities on fire? As I said, it's pointless...

I agree, but using 5 layers to a slab height is ugly because it's bigger than a half block :/

Mod, you've set both (MC-8781 and this one) as duplicated by each other and none open :/

Minecraft have some "Functional bugs" (according to you) for a long time, floating blocks, animals without grender but still breeding, you can get lava with a bucket (and hold it in your hand!), infinite water, trees grow instantly. And you say that the water in the cauldron not vanishing fire should be fixed because it's water inside.

So you want the lava bucket removed from the game?

It's not a bug if it's not programed to do it, it's a sugestion.
The same way that there's water on a water bucket and it burns. The same way that there's lava inside the bucket and it don't burn naturally but burns if thrown in lava.

Because have another issue with the same subject...

The light level at the player is 12, should have a hole...
