This is still happening and makes the game impossible to play since your hotbar sometimes literally switches to bread when fighting enemies.
Well its been two months and not a peep about this. This bug is driving me crazy and the only thing preventing me from enjoying Minecraft VR... please help?
I just started having this issue. I figured out it was because the nether portal was covered by blocks on all sides. I removed all the nether blocks from around the portal and it fixed it.

I assume this is the same bug? It happens across chunk borders in my creeper tower.
Confirmed, completely unplayable at the moment.
Still getting this issue on August 1, 2020. Please devs if you can look into it, its ruining an otherwise amazing experience... Minecraft Windows 10 VR is amazing, but this one issue makes it almost unplayable...
