i have added the attachment.
My witchfarm doesnt spawn any witches at daytime because skylight goes trough the roof. i have build an roof and encased the farm with solid blocks. when i encased it with solid blocks it seemed to go away but after a couple hours it went back to before. all the blocks below the roof (even the caves) are lit with skylight.
this is an newly created server and has never been updated. im playing on version 1.14.2.
i have added some screenshots that may help.
please fix this problem because its breaks almost all my farms.
Yeah, I did some research and saw numerous articles about the same problem, I hope there's something Mojang can do about this and we will enjoy the crossplay.

Are you sure you didn't catch a stick? Sticks are apart of fishing. I have 3 people on the beta world, and we are catching fish like crazy. I know sticks are something you can catch. I don't believe this is a bug.
I will agree with this statement. We have 2 Windows 10 - PC players and 1 Xbox One Player. We noticed mobs and friendlies did not spawn at all. When we first start the world up we have mobs, but about 2-5 minutes in the game the stop spawning. 1.2.0.31 version for us and 1.2.0.29 for Xbox One.
Check your versions. I've had that issue before. If your versions are too far apart then it could cause the automatic "Disconnected From Server". I play on PC and my wife plays on the Xbox One. I'm currently updated to 1.2.0.31 which is the latest while my wife on the Xbox one is on 1.2.0.29.
