I don't think this is a bug, as this is intended behavior because the fortress is over a soul sand valley (which has few mob spawning). So majority of the mobcap is taken by the fortress mobs (no zombiefied piglins). That's why wither skeleton farms are very efficient in soul-sand valleys.

Can confirm that the zombie villager textures are messed up in the latest snapshot (20w51a) and latest release (1.16.4)

Does this occur often under a specific condition, because I am not able to reproduce this on 1.16.4

Can confirm too (1.16.4). I first thought the huge lag spike was due to my client not able to process the entities when killed, but after I opened the console I see that this error was being spammed a lot. The lag is annoying when dealing with mob farms especially.

Does this affect the latest release 1.16.4?

This bug has partially been fixed in version 1.15 where mobs despawn in lazy chunks. After upgrading my server from 1.14.4 to 1.15.2 with a view distance of 6, I saw significant increase in mob spawning and better rates in my mob farms. But mobs in lazy chunks will not randomly despawn within 128 blocks of the player

I think this was the same bug that occurred to xisumavoid in his latest hermitcraft episode: https://youtu.be/Jqp0r2SBdBM?t=640 (timestamp-10:42). So this bug is confirmed for 1.16.1

Yes this even  happened to me and i thought it was a server issue. Luckily i had my elytra on me

it is not a bug, it is actually an intended mechanic (as far as I know in Java) where any block placed around the platform would will be deleted whenever someone enters the end. This is to prevent any endstone generating on the platform and potentially suffocating the player when entering the demension. Hope this helps 🙂
