The bug
The hands of zombie villagers are not rendering correctly while using the Programmer Art texture pack, they render around the head. The problem is that Jappa's new textures use a different format than Programmer art. It is not compatible with programmer art. Please make it. Don't encourage the use of the new textures over the use of the old ones, as some of us are not fans of them (at all). I don't want to have to put up with rendering bugs in order to use the classic textures instead of the new, odd ones.

Note that because "Programmer Art" is basically the 1.13 art, this means it is impossible to build a texture pack that works correctly for 1.13 and 1.14.
For example in 1.13 zombie_villager.png has an area used for the arms and hands, where 1.14 looks for the hat.
Unless this is somehow fixed, 1.13 and 1.14 are really not using the same texture pack format.
Still they should fix because this is being mean to beople who are not fans of Jappa's textures like me
@ Greg Milson:
Yes, this is still an issue occurring with the 1.14 Update's official release.

Confirming for outdated versions has absolutely no use at all, except if it's the first version an issue appeared in (as that gives useful info).
I think now is a good time to do this, given the model adaptations from the Spring to Life release and MC-280047
I agree. Plus ever since I have noticed it I’ve began to lose my mind. It’d be nice if they also were to somehow add the old models for villagers (apart from the mason profession) and zombie villagers along with the vex, bat, and other mobs who have had their model significantly changed to the Programmer Art resource pack. More than anything though I’d just like this to be fixed so I don’t have to deal with horridly deformed villagers when I am curing villagers for better trades
What does confirmation status mean?
