Still cannot connect on 1.11.1 with Nintendo Online network.

Need use cross platform multiplay.

That's no reason to use boost mode instead performance tuning.

Don't know why mobile version load the game so fast and Switch loading the game / save game with unreasonable performance.

Me too, crash @ 11.1, after a close game with manual save

During Save, application error, then the game never can be opened, also show application error during loading the game.

The game size is huge around 240MB

No way to recover my save and finally I need to create another game with 11.1 to play another world.

Platform: switch 7.0.1

Never have this issue on 1.9.x

Have this issue on sometimes on 1.10.0

Single player game only

Just game crachsed and restarted the switch unit, and seems the problem is not occurred again

Just tested with same version of Android platform and seems no this issue.

Seems many ppls suffer on this issue.
My sure workaround is:

1. Reboot and safe for first launch when saving game (reboot each play ? ohno!)
2. Regularly backup (i.e. copy) the world....may help not to cause total loss.....

Totally agree your point.
I am also suffering around such issues and already open the case.

Especially saving crash and loading "resource pack" is really trouble and affect the gaming experience.

Please pay attention and put this bug as high priority since I am suffering save and hang issue everyday and lost my progress for each time.

@Andre See  Not totally agree your opinion since only developer know how Bedlock edition handle the save / autosave with switch API. If simply append that's true. But this is a game which may affect to any block in the minecraft world. The simplest way is dump and compress the in game memory and export to file. So I guess the save may have overwrite possibility.

For my observation, I had always encounter save game then hang issue. After force close the game then reopen, the file size will be reduced. It seems the save may have several copy on single save resource file to prevent any data loss during saving crash. So I guess each save time will write some new data on it, and it is not good for autosave on TLC which may decrease the life of the NAND chip.

Just case like my report save & quit crash

Tentative solution is regular save and reboot the switch may get a little bit help, but not 100% sure to prevent crash.

Regularly reboot the switch may help on this case but seems not reasonable.

If saving game crashed and force closed the apps, the save will be recovered as last save stage (i.e. before entering the game stage) and all unsaved progress will be lost which is frustrated.

However, on bedrock edition seems the only wait to surely save game is using "Save & Quit" function in game.

Even removed the installed resource pack, the loading time still slow as not reasonable.

Each enter game will show "Generation world" at least 3-5 min. then enter game

Each save and quit will show "Loading resource" at least 3-5 min. then show game saving.

Don't know why the Targa based console performance is worst than mobile version which CPU&GPU is slower than switch.

Update: regular reboot (around 3-5 save then one reboot the device) the switch seems can help the saving hang issue.
