Hi,
Try Youtube. The best videos for this can be found there. Hope that helps.
Have a work around / resolution.
I Optimised the world then Optimized it and errased the cached data. The initial optimisation did not resolve the issue but errasing the cache and optimising did.
Hope this helps
I may have found a better work round than removing the POI files.
I tried that and chunks kept regening every time I opened the game, even if I had removed blocks etc. Then I looked through posts on the mcr files and found one from way back that suggested renaming the level.dat_mcr to level.dat_mcr_old so I gave it a try and touch wood the game has been more stable since.
I have had one odd crash but not related to this but a fatal in the Java runtime environment which I will look into seperatly.
Hope this helps.
Latest snapshot and it is still happening!
[media]Hi,
Thank you Kevin.
I can see the Pillagers and have spawned some near a village to see how they reacted compared to the Java version. Hence raising the point.
I will leave it be until it has been fully release to Beta and continue looking and watching.
Regards
John
Thank you for the update.
It does seem a little odd to include Pillagers without the Outpost as it gives them no game driven spawn point and limits the chances of behavioural testing, but it is what it is.
Again, thank you
I have noticed exactly the same. Using 0.14.2 on Windows 10
The compass needle takes a random bearing as you enter a boat but not back towards the world spawning point as it should. It can vary during a long boat ride but still not towards the spawning point.
This is not replicated in a minecart or, as I just verified, while flying in creative.
Hope this helps

Marioipod, I am not sure if you mean to be sarcastic or are actually passing on praise but it has come across as possibly both.
I am though surprised that an iPod user would be commenting on my Minecraft issue report when it is not available to the iPod and so long after the fix had been made!
Thank you Illidicia for proving the short comings of the search facility.
Whilst I did endeavor to find a listing for issues before reporting them, it is very difficult to guess how others may have described the problem.
This is probably why the system is producing so many duplicated reports.
I suggest that instead of telling users off for duplicating issue reports a better solution would be to revise the reporting system to reduce the issue in the first place.
Maybe get the system to run a search on new tickets before they are made live. Just a thought
Merry Christmas
I am only just getting this issue after the update to v0.13.0 on the Windows 10 Beta.
Any trapdoors I created before the update now change to their closed position on entering the world.
Very annoying. I have had to resort to removing them.
I am also getting this issue on Bedrock on Windows 10 (latest update for both Windows and Minecraft)
