My friend tried to revert our realm to an older save because our favorite horse seemed to have despawned, but it showed the message "Download failed. The world size exceeds the maximum downloadable limit of 426MB."
This happens to me and my friend's on our realms server in version 1.14.6 every single time without fail. When someone joins with a custom skin, they will have the someone else's custom skin. Changing yours back also changes theirs. This happens no matter which of our devices we play on and doesn't seem to affect people using skins from the store.
This happened to me on a realms server, I had a level 3 librarian with an Unbreaking enchanted book trade which I put a name tag on to keep track of it. It seemed to have claimed a composter which had been unclaimed (I had 3 composters and only 2 farmers) and turned into a farmer despite not being a novice anymore. All of its trades are now farmer trades from levels 1-3. It still retained the name tag as well. I'm not sure how old the world is but the village was created from cured zombie villagers in an underground base after the village and pillage update. Unfortunately I don't have access to the world file since I'm not the owner of the server.
On my friend's realm, I like to keep a horse tied on a fence post next to my house with a name tag on it, but after a while it seems to despawn, so I have to replace it. This has happened multiple times, and I believe it has been happening since about a year ago, before the nether update. It doesn't seem to be consistent; sometimes it happens after hours, sometimes after days, sometimes to horses i ride often, sometimes to ones i rarely use.
I also had a named horse hanging above the ground on a leash near my house for months. Yesterday I took it down and left it on the ground tied to a fence. I also tied a new named horse next to my house. Today I checked and it the horse that used to be hanging is gone, while the one that I recently tied next to my house is still there.
I know they are despawning and not dying from something because there is never a death message and the lead can still be seen tied on the fence post. I tested to make sure, and found that when animals die the leash consistently properly disappears and drops as an item.
My friends have named horses that are fenced up and don't seem to have this problem.
I also have a horse, a donkey, a mule, and a skeleton horse tied to a fence post underground below my house (All of which I never ride) and they have been just fine as well.
We also have 3 skeleton horses tied up in the area, and they seem to be fine, although I think there used to be 4 a few months ago.
Not sure if this is related, but I also in that realm yesterday, I pushed my horse through a nether portal into the overworld, killed a ghast, then went through myself. When I came up in the overworld, it was gone. At some point I quit the game and came back, and at some point i went back in the nether, but I don't remember which was first. The next time i returnd to the overworld, the horse was back.
