I changed the compatibility back to Windows XP Service Pack, launched it, had to click on something with remembering settings? I don't know, but when I launch it, I get the older launcher, but everything still works. I dont use plug-ins or any modified stuff.
I got it working again.. how can i delete this thread?
Have you tried to restart the game / your PC?
I have exactly the same problem with an iPad 9.3.6. The logo flashed up then the screen goes white and quits. We have tried reinstalling but it makes no difference.

I'm having the same problem for a long time now. Only the snapshots don't work for me. I added some files.
I think they should change it so the order doesn't matter... somehow doesn't make sense that it should matter for this recipe, imo.
