Hmm, spent half an hour looking to see if this was already reported and never saw that one.

Plants could generate on snow, which is world generation

After some testing by replacing the scaffolding with acacia fence gate, I can confirm this does NOT duplicate MC-123584

This bug report is invalid, but if you want to resolve this issue, you would have to check your DIM1 subfolder for Minecraft (either delete the entities, the specific chunks, or the entire end dimension).

This is likely WAI since MC-178125 is a similar issue and was resolved this way

There does not appear to be any bug here. The piston is quasi powered while it is extended. When the quasi power stops, the piston does not retract because it does not receive an update. All intended behaviors.

 This is a picture from the minecraft wiki of the end. From my testing, the end gateways that generate in the far outer end will always generate a second one in a ring around the central island in the outer end. To me, this improvement does not seem to be an accident. However, this is up for the devs to decide.

This is not a bug; this is intentional. As of the 1.13 snapshots, chests will only connect if both are facing the same direction and the player was not holding shift when the placed the second chest.

I have done some testing with this and this is by no means random. These outer end end gateways create and link to new end gateways which generate in a ring around the edge of the outer end. This may not be a bug, but instead a secret feature. It makes more sense for an end gateway to link to another gateway, rather than the obsidian platform as they once did.

From my testing if you use the /locate command and the nearest structure is far away, the game will say that no structure can be found (from my testing 1.12.2 can find structures significantly farther than it can in 18w20c). If you then proceed to fly in any direction, the game will crash due to this bug much faster. 

If you are referring to the Elder Guardians, they do not respawn. Normal guardians should still spawn.
