Comments

This is something I have noticed only when joining a server or world running on good hardware.

Was this issue introduced in this pre-release?

This is because of the 1.13 water mechanics. You can also swim in the water pocket of the bed and replenish oxygen, or use something like a door.

The developers will have to decide whether the behavior itself should be fixed. Yes, when pressing the spacebar continuously to go up faster, it doesn't seem like you're abusing a bug, but then again, it doesn't make much sense either.

I believe this is intentional. It was changed in a combat snapshot, however.

Seems to be internal server lag. The internal server can lag, just like normal servers.

This should be reopened. MC-178973 is marked WAI because stealing using a hopper is intended to not aggro piglins, but blowing up a chest is, according to DrownedZombie's comment.

Does this bug apply to striders as well? If so, MC-190266 is more common.

Difficulty doesn't affect burning damage.

What happens is that you don't get any damage for a couple of seconds, which applies to all damage. You have always been able to exploit it to get no fire damage whatsoever. I've reported that (MC-160051), since I feel it is not intended you can avoid all fire damage in both singleplayer and multiplayer.

A workaround for this bug is therefore to keep re-logging until the fire stops. The reason this works is because the fire timer keeps playing, even when the join resistance is active.

It is concerning, though, if MC-98727 includes striders. That would mean re-joining while on a strider is more common.

This use of the Oxford comma is optional. While it can be useful to prevent misunderstandings, it is not required to be used in a simple sentence. It is up to Mojang whether it should be added.

Note that you may be more used to the Oxford comma than some Mojang employees in case you're American, since it's more common in American English than in other variants.

That's intended in this case. It's not a title text.

Is this still an issue after the pre-3 fix of MC-171969?

Confirmed for 1.16 pre-release 2

You can still see a functioning clock/compass when trying to craft a clock/compass. Is that intended?

Either of them will probably be marked as a duplicate of the other.
