@Jess Edward I looked MC-219639, but that seems to be a separate issue. Every time I stop the world and restart it, Swap usage shoots up. Even reverted back to my pre 1.17 map, same issue.
Ok, Thanks Agnes!
I can vouch that this issue affects 1.13-pre3 tested in igloos.
I've seen this issue today in snapshot 18W14b
I do. I uploaded the level.dat file. According to MinAtlas, the seed should be -4880615984356898561 I'm following the issue via, email in case you need anything else from me. Thanks again!
Edit: I tried uploading the whole world as a zip file, but it was slightly too large.
It spawned around that area. Seed was left blank. Coordinates are: -53, 64, 267.
I can confirm that when using the spawn egg in creative (no mods or resource packs used) I just see a shadow. I switched the time to night and got the same result.
Ah, ok, Sounds like it. Thanks for your help! 🙂
Ok, I tried it a few more times and it seems to be a random issue with the sound. I'll attach the log for each case.
Edit: I also uninstalled/re-installed the game, but the sound issue still wasn't resolved. So uninstalled again and deleted the .minecraft folder which brought me to it being an occasional issue.
I can confirm this issue.
Ha ha, oops. Mystery solved.
It sounds like it could be coming from the music rather than one of the sound effects. I don't hear when I fight the ender dragon, it's only when I enter the end city.
Well, I was able to reproduce the same sound glitch by creating a new world on another computer. It's only happening in the end city world. This randomly happened while flying around the area. It sounds like machine gun for about three seconds.
Then it's obviously an issue that's not showing up in the log file for whatever reason. I haven't had the sound issue in 1.8.9 or with any other applications so I know it's not hardware related. Also, I've only noticed it happening in the ender world with the latest snapshot.
Ok. I had the sound glitch again while on one of the boats. It lasts for about 3 to 5 seconds and then goes back to normal.

I can concur that I see the same issue. If I break the block in front of the frog, the frog starts moving around like normal.
