update for anyone who is in need, i accessed my router setting and turned off the firewall then went to the skins folder and deleted it and rerun the game and it worked like a charm
note: you can go back and return the firewall on of the router it will cause no problem if you are concerned for safety
Literally nothing. No crash, no messages, it just does not open. There is nothing to provide you other than, quite literally, hitting "PLAY" does a green loading bar at the bottom, and then nothing happens. Hitting "PLAY" again says there is a game currently open, but it's nowhere to be found in task manager.
This started happening after I restarted the game while getting low frame rates in a single player world.
This cannot be considered a duplicate of MC-227913 because even after doing everything listed in the solution provided, the issue will consistently happen. All things considered, it would be great to just reopen the original post and address the issue there because of how many people were commenting on and keeping their eyes on that submission even as recent as this past week.
Not to mention that this issue is only with realms, as regular multiplayer servers work properly.
Actually, its porbably because you're playing in minecraft bedrock edition, which doesn't show the trophies. To see them you have to get into the skin customisation and press the "achievements" button and you'll see them! Its in minecraft Java that it shows, so probably not into your version
I'm having a similar issue, just bought Minecraft for my daughter for Christmas. Launcher crashes immediately. Very disappointing because she's really excited about it and wants to play. She's on a Mac OS 10.10.5 (Yosemite.) Have attached crash report
If you're on Xbox, make sure that your capture storage isn't full. I was unable to post to my feed, but once I cleared out some memory in my captures, I was able to again.
Even if this is a bug, I don't want it to be fixed. It has been very useful for building rooms that i want to be a little darker than if they were lit by torches or glowstone

So apparently the old launcher works but the new one that I'm being coerced into using doesn't.
Tried deleting everything minecraft from my computer and reinstalling and it still doesn't work.

I think you're trying to update Minecraft, which is impossible when you are offline.
yusufilus Wait Yes it is.

I have this same issue. Ticket MCPE-52311 is no longer accessible. What is the suggested resolution please?

I am having the same issue. I am also the only one affected by this on my realm.
