This is still a bug as of 1.21.0, adding new vid later.

As of 1.21.0, this is still a bug, adding new vid later.

Can't seem to replicate this bug anymore in 1.21.0 update, so it can be closed.

As of 1.21.0, this is still a bug, uploading new video later.

As of the 1.21.0 update, still a bug, will upload video later.

Its hard to see in the video, I think a moderator who has access to VR will have to check it out in game. In the video you can see the items are clamped to screen and don't shoot work or shoot correctly because sometime the projectiles want to follow your head position and sometimes your crosshair position, the potions I throw at the end of the video do not have an issue those were to demonstrate the correct behavior the trident and bows should be following, there not looked to the screen and you can throw them in any direction your hand was and not your head or crosshair.

Updated issue to be more clear, Just to be clear once again, this is not multiple bugs, this is one texture bug that effects multiple items in game. The bug is that the textures for a lot of items is oversized in VR and this ONE BUG effects them all.

Updated title to be more clear about the issue.

Sorry, I meant, whatever software you are using as in for VR, the software I'm referring to here is Oculus/Meta when playing Minecraft VR through Oculus pc client (software), when this bug occurs you have to go into oculus menu to reposition your game. In Minecraft VR when the bug occurs your stuck with the wrong orientation until you manually go to Oculus menu and reposition the game. Just to sum up, if you go into a menu in VR and turn then exit said menu the pointer and hand orientation will become off making turning and such wrong. To fix this you have to go into your VR client and reorientate the game so your hand corrects itself. Just to be clear this is not an Oculus bug, I wouldn't be reporting here if it was, this is a Minecraft VR bug that messes up your orientation when you move while in a menu or pause screen in Minecraft VR such as the pause menu to exit the world when playing a world.

Since my ticked was closed I will add the other problems and attach my photos here, In non immersive mode when using spyglass the crosshair is way too big and covers the whole view of the spyglass (see picture for non immersive mode (don't know if they have this on psvr but they have this mode on windows vr) When it is raining the rain particles become huge through spyglass.

Hello what about the other bugs in this report? In none immersive mode when using spyglass the crosshair is way too big and covers the whole view of the spyglass. When it is raining the rain particles become huge. The other bug report doesn't mention these bugs so I will edit this report to add out the zoom issue but keep the other issues.

can also confirm as of update 1.20.51 on windows 10/11, still not fixed

Hello No, this one is different from that bug, I actually made a report for that bug as well here MCPE-178469. This bug is filed as different because it is. I will try to describe better here, so when you get an item like hanging roots or dripstone there not in your hand at all they are at the floating either above or below were there supposed to be if you look at the attached image of the music disc (one of the blocks that have this problem) you can see it all the way towards the ground. It is not dropped on the ground I had it equipped in my hotbar, the bugs you linked are related to items being positioned wrong in hand, this bug is about items not even being in your hand but floating at the bottom or top of your screen when equipped.

I will Add More Pictures Of the Problem Tomorrow If I Am Allowed, And Also Show That It still persists in the most recent version of Minecraft.

Hello, as of right now (29/01/2024) (Version 1.20.51) this is still very much a bug. This can really hinder the playing ability of VR. Please fix as soon as possible.

Hello, as of right now (29/01/2024) (Version 1.20.51) this is still very much a bug and it makes VR unplayable for me, because of how weird things look in hand, especially tools, like swords and pickaxes. if this comment gets passed by I will open another ticket as I want to play VR and this needs to be looked at and fixed, I also have other bugs (a lot of them) I need to post to have seen and fixed.
