A crosshairs showed up for me, try activating split controls.
Thank you Davisson Noble, however, it is different, as I did not die from the blaze dealing so much damage. I have just noticed that this issue is going absolutely viral on this site, for some reason nothing came up when I searched for similar issues.
You’re sad? I lost a full suit of diamond armour, each piece had Protection IV, Unbreaking III, and Mending. My chestplate and helmet had Thorns, and my boots had Feather Falling IV. I was ready to take on the Ender Dragon, just needed a little more XP to enchant a sword before going, and now I have to wait another 6 months at least to get back all that awesome armour, all because of some stupid bug.
Lol I’m not the only one! I was in my single player survival world farming blazes for XP with full diamond Protection IV Unbreaking III Mending armour, and it was going good for a solid 10 minutes. Then BAM and my helmet, chestplate, and boots all broke at the same time, without reason. My leggings were left untouched, and unlike the lot of those affected by this, I did not die or get “one shotted”. Just BAM, armour disappeared in thin air, and 8 absorbtion hearts showed up. I hereby declare this DOES still happen in Pocket Edition 1.2.11 single-player, and I have lost so much time and so many resources due to the insane enchantments that were on the armour that I lost. Ahem, speaking to you, Mending!
This has not happened since, but I haven’t really tried it in the 5 months it took someone to respond to my post. Perhaps it was just a one-time glitch in the system that caused my villager to be replaced. If this does happen to other people, though, it’s a serious issue.
Hi, Connor Steppie. I have the same problem, when sprinting on the edge of a block next to water, ice-like particles show up. These particles also appear when falling from high up and landing on the edge of a block right next to water.
Best of luck in your gaming experience,
Munchy
Hi, Connor Steppie. This doesn’t happen with me, and I’m on the same version. Try placing snow while using split controls. Does it still happen?

Hi, Connor Steppie. As I see it, this isn’t a bug, but rather a feature Mojang just never implemented. I’ve played this game for years, and never remember seeing the sleeve of my chestplate on my arm. It would be pretty cool to see it when punching something, though. My apologies if I’m wrong, but it was never a feature in the game.
Best of luck in your gaming experience,
Munchy
Hi, Maximus Wellian. In my recent post on the issue this one is duplicated by, I recounted a way to fix this bug on iOS devices. Hope it helps!

Hi, Blinky Person. This is a duplicate of MCPE 29863. We are having a large discussion on this issue across all platforms, so you may want to check it out.
Best of luck in your gaming experience,

Hi, Nathan Fielding. Your description is a bit confusing. What do you mean by “It turns into a different empty world”? Could you please describe the issue, or perhaps attach some screenshots? It would help you a lot if others actually knew what you’re talking about.
Best of luck in your gaming experience,
Munchy
Hi, Brian Schwarberg. To post on the MCPE tracker, simply go to the top of the webpage, tap “Dashboards”. Then, tap “View System Dashboards”, and select your version of Minecraft from the list. Since you play PE, tap on the second MINECRAFT logo, just below the Java Edition.
Best of luck in your gaming experiences,
Munchy
It looks like this issue is happening across all platforms, so I am representing it only for Minecraft iOS edition.
I can confirm it occurs because of multiplayer - it happens on its own, too, but not as often, as it consistently happens every time you exit a multiplayer world and go on one of your single-player worlds. I also confirm that this only happens to Survival worlds - never to worlds set to creative.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Make sure you have the Pocket Edition of Minecraft on an iOS device.
2. Join a multiplayer world, either by LAN, on a friend’s world through Xbox live, or on an external server. I have not tested this on Realms but I have tested it on the above mentioned ways of going on multiplayer.
3. Leave the multiplayer world/server, and then go on to one of your single-player worlds. Freak out when you find yourself at the world spawn, with nothing on you!
Steps to fix:
1. Join the affected single-player world. You should have nothing in your inventory, no armour, XP, etc. This is what the bug leaves you with. (If you just left the multiplayer world and joined this one, this step will already be done.)
2. Restart the Minecraft app. This is done by double-tapping the home button and swiping up on “Minecraft”.
3. Enter Minecraft again. Join the single-player world you were just on a moment ago. Be amazed as everything you had before this bug affected your world - XP levels, armour, inventory contents - have been returned to you! Hooray!
Please note:
Once you use the fix I mentioned above, ALL worlds affected by this bug will be restored. This means that any progress you made after it happened WILL be erased. But, you will have all your items restored from BEFORE the bug took place. Trust me, it works!
Again, I don’t know about other versions. These steps to reproduce and fix this bug have been thouroughly tested and confirmed by me, but only on the iOS version, which is the only version I have.
Thank you for reading this. It took me a long time to test and confirm all this, so I hope it helps.
Best of luck to all in getting their stuff back and/or fixing this issue,
Munchy
Jesse Young, you are correct, it displays the same holiday messages, but in many different languages. This is surely intended to show respect to everyone across the globe during the holiday season.
I previously made a report on a very similar issue, and it was marked as a duplicate of this one. So here’s my story.
I log out of my survival world with a bunch of stuff in my inventory, XP levels and armor on. When I went on a week later, I was not where I logged off, but rather at the world’s spawn point. Not only that, but everything I had when I logged off - inventory, XP, and armor - was all gone. I had absolutely nothing.
After reporting this issue, I avoided playing that world for another week, until my other survival world did the same thing. I freaked out and told my friend, who also plays Minecraft PE. He said the exact same thing had happened to him recently. This told me it was not just a problem with my account.
My friend also said that after restarting the app (double-tapping the home button and swiping up) and then starting up Minecraft and joining the affected world, all would be back to normal.
I was desperate to save all my diamond gear, so I did it. Went on to the affected world, restarted the app, went on again... and everything was back to normal! I was back to where I had been two weeks before, with all my stuff, armor, XP, and even location returned properly.
This issue has happened numerous times since then, and every time, by restarting the app, all is back to normal. I can’t say for sure if it is affected by multiplayer, but I can say that their’s a solution to this, at least for iPad users.
Thank you for letting me share this information,
Munchy
Thank you David Frost. I do not have the mentioned Xbox app, however I tried restarting the Minecraft app itself, and to my surprise everything was back to normal, just as I’d left it two weeks earlier. I will add this to the parent issue.
I had the same problem. Entered my survival world, I was at the world spawn with all the stuff in my inventory cleared. Please fix this.
There is no coral or sea grass because you have already explored the area. This happens whenever there is some sort of new generated structure added in an update. The game can’t change what you have already rendered, or else there could be problems. Like in my world when the ravine update came out, I had to go a long ways from my house to find one. Had Minecraft been able to change what I have already rendered, I could have a ravine running straight through one of my builds! Anyway, this is not a bug, just something Minecraft has always done after major updates. In PC Edition, one can simply reset the chunks of their choosing to bring new features to their already rendered areas, but this can’t be done on MCPE, as far as I know.
