Yes still an issue. Please just restore our swimming to the way it was beforehand. Doing anything in water now is just frustrating. Yesterday I decided to get in the water to build a conduit. I died multiple times trying to place blocks and fight drowned. The touch controls are stupid now and I shouldn’t need a controller on an ipad to swim. Please get a touch device and swim / fight / build in water to understand what we are all experiencing.

I am still waiting for this to be fixed. I use one hand to press forward and the other hand to press up. Then when my head is above water, I use my thumb very awkwardly at the same time to look horizontally again and change directions. The changes to swimming might be ok for controller and keyboard users but not for touch players. I used to double tap and hold forward with my left hand to swim along the top of the water with my view above water and steer with my right hand. If I do that exact same thing now, I get air bubbles and start to drown.

This is happening to me too on iPad Pro 11 with touch controls. Need to press forward with one hand and up with the other hand to swim without sinking, making it impossible to steer or fight.

I added a screenshot of this. My daughter has 4 worlds that are stuck on downloading either from new purchases or updates. The download window opens, nothing happens, so eventually we just close the download dialogue by hitting the X. The pages of these worlds then are like in the screenshot. For the worlds with updates, I have tried deleting the template from storage but the marketplace page remains stuck. This is on an iPad with OS and Minecraft up to date.

Edit: I also tried clearing the Marketplace cache, which refreshed the page, but then the cycle just repeats, getting stuck again. The download will just not start. Our internet is working fine so it’s not that.

Edit 2: After clearing marketplace cache, closing minecraft, disconnecting wifi, restarting ipad, turning on wifi and opening minecraft in that order, it worked! I have successfully downloaded/updated all of my daughter’s content.

I can confirm this is current in 1.17.40. I went to a woodland mansion today from a cartographer map, and there were 2 black glowsticks in the fake end room I found. No ender pearls.

I had this happening to my ipad for a month or more. I managed to get it working after doing a couple of things (not sure what order). I changed my ipad wifi to connect to my iphone data hotspot instead. I also went into mc settings/profile and logged out and pressed the clear sign in data button. After restarting the minecraft app, I signed in again and was able to get the store to work. Then without closing mc, I turned off my phone hotspot and the ipad auto connected back to my home wifi and stayed working after that. I did this for my 2 kids as well. I had to try a couple times in whatever order but either one or both changing the wifi connection and signing completely out and in did fix it for our 3 ipads.

My armor stands have all disappeared too. All 18 of them. And my animals and villagers too. I am on ios 15 ipad pro 11. Very unimpressed 😞

I was in my stone brick 3 storey mansion, and my pet wolf on the bottom floor inside was hit by lightning and killed. I have more pets in the house, and am now scared for them. Is there anything we can do to protect them until this bug is fixed? This is so sad to be happening 😢

I am playing on an iPad Pro 11” and am having the same issue. It was fine before today’s update. After adjusting the slider bar so the top of the screen is not cut off, the bottom is very high, which creates a dead zone at the bottom while playing.
