This issue has gotten a lot worse since the new terrain generation of 1.18. Naturally generated bees rarely stay close to their hives anymore.
Actually yeah. When you're searching for end cities you'll commonly go well beyond the 300k mark. @@unknown
This does NOT just happen with naturally spawned bees. It can happen with any bees that have varying terrain heights nearby. From what I can tell, the bees were coded to stay near their hives on the x and z axis, but lacks the pathfinding for the y axis.
Why is this marked as trivial? This is world-breaking stuff.
This is a duplicate of MC-199515. In this instance, it occurred with a villager that already had the corresponding profession locked in.
This is indeed still an issue. Whenever a job site block has a block on top of it, villagers are unable to pathfind to it for some reason.
At the time, I was breeding turtles and collecting their eggs with a silk touch netherite pickaxe. I was also on a suspended platform at y=198 at the time.
Done.
This bug was fixed in Java Edition. It should be fixed here as well.
This also occurs in the soul sand valley. Though far less noticeable, the sparse crimson roots will only generate on the topmost layer
"I suspect the path is too long in this case, so the closest position to the workstation the villager manages to path to is behind the wall then.:
I don't think this is the case since the farmers(the villagers that had the furthest travel travel distance.) had no trouble navigating to their work sites. However, this is indeed a duplicate of MC-160582. That bug didn't show when searched this problem up.
It's most likely not supposed to be like that, considering many of the job sites for armorers and butchers naturally generate with a block on top of them,
Ah. thank you!
This is definitely not a duplicate of MC-2349. That bug was just pointing out that all blocks trigger the connections. This however, is the equivalent of normal walls connecting to air blocks above them.
I believe this occurs because of the Ravager's melee attack style conflicting with the Pillager's ranged attack style.
Not quite. It's more of a jittery pattern of the beast stopping for half a second.
I think they should just remove the recipe for it that uses a dandelion and only use the one with the blue orchid, since the blue orchid is a rarer flower.
Since I first posted this 3 years ago, this issue has never happened again. If no one else has, then I'd say it's safe to close it now.
