Just a quick follow-up “have you tried clicking the magnifying glass icon (search portal) after typing your search, instead of pressing Enter?” In some cases, pressing Enter doesn’t trigger the full site search, but clicking the portal/search icon works as expected. I tested this just now and had the same issue when pressing Enter, but clicking the icon gave me actual results.

I found it very odd to, and you’re not the only one I hope it resolve soon!

Are the email addresses you're using personal (e.g. Gmail, Outlook), or are they tied to a custom domain or work/school address?

Are you logged into your Microsoft/Mojang account when submitting the form, or using the site as a guest?

I would say that the marketplace is out of date which explain why it kicked you out, but I am not entirely sure why it logged you out of your account. My bests thoughts would be the URL isnt supported with your devices, the type of platforms you use for bedrock or java is in a different dates like ex: 1.18 is to old compared to 1.21, and maybe you should try to relog into your Microsoft account inside the Microsoft store to see if that resolve your issues.

Hi Todd! This is actually expected behavior in the latest Minecraft Java editions. Mojang recently added several new default skins (not just Steve and Alex — now also Efe, Ari, etc). When you're offline, the launcher can’t access your profile skin, so it randomly assigns one of these defaults each time when you first started. That’s why you’ve seen it switch from Steve/ Sammy (likely meant Alex or another skin). Make sure you’re logged into your Microsoft account. Upload or pick your own custom skin in the http://Minecraft.net profile settings or from the Launcher when you're online, Minecraft will always load your chosen skin — not the random default. Let me know if you'd like help picking or uploading a skin!
