I have only observed this during thunderstorms. They all go towards a desert, which is opposite of the place I got the from, the snowy taiga, both in location and biome.
The place where they are already has a artificial village with villagers, beds, bells and job sites.
Confirmed 1.16.3. My bee farm is driving the sounds crazy, even though they barely make any noise.

This biome actually has a very interesting terrain generation. It does seem like all the "hoodoos" are individual structures and this can be observed in Minecraft Win10 past X/Z ±12582912.
I'm guessing to fix it, the whole terrarin generation code would need a rewrite.

I have seen this world and can find it in 1.16.2/1.16.3 . It would be disasterous if a lava lake generated instead.
Confirmed for 1.16.4, can't hear item frames, paintings, armor stands, tridents. Those are just a list I have came up with. There must be much more.
