THANK YOU FOR CONFIRMING THIS BUG!!!!

This happened today, September 26, 2023.

Mojang treat this bug reporting like it's rocket science.  We are literally average players, yet they want us to bring them in depth scientific analysis in bug reports.  It's so annoying.  Loads of bugs go unfixed or ignored because of this!  I have bug reports that are YEARS old!

@GoldenHelmet I wish you would specify the dimensions. I don't know what you mean by 2x1x2.  How many blocks vertical, and how many blocks horizontal can spiders spawn?

The reason I am commenting, I have spiders spawning in masses on a one-block space. These people creating bug tickets aren't crazy, and they shouldn't all be marked as resolved!

No tools or enchanted tools improve the mining speed of Mangrove Roots!

Ok before I search for exact numbers, can you confirm if the XP has been nerfed or changed in recent patches or updates?

Makes sense.  The ring did not qualify.  Not sure if you want to classify this as a bug!  Going in a straight line for a long distance earned the achievement!

Using a Beacon with Haste 2, a Netherite pickaxe with Efficiency V and Unbreaking III, mines slower than it should on Deepslate because of this issue!  There are about 3-4 pickaxe mining animations before it breaks the next block (swing+break, swing, swing, swing, swing, swing+break).

If there is a nearby slab already placed, the new slabs with be immediately placed onto the slab prioritizing the "Full block" side (top or bottom).  Example: a slab is placed on the ground at 0.5 block height, someone is trying to continuously place slabs nearby, the slab will be placed on the nearby slab instead making it 1.0 block height.  (If it's a top slab the new slab will be placed underneath, etc.)

Just found this bug today and can confirm it is a problem!

I get it.  Combine MCPE-145612 Half of the random ticks are discarded - Jira (mojang.com) that discards 50% of ticks, and constant, repetitious lag that causes ticks to be lost or not even happen, and you get 50-75% of ticks lost or not happening.  This can explain no glowberries after 15 hours occurring on my realm!

I can almost guarantee that is the issue!^ @Brent  Considering online (realm) worlds are plagued with lag, I've already noticed in the past things like copper not oxidizing, various vegetation not growing, frozen redstone, among other things!  The way I interpreted it is that ticks were not happening, or were frozen, or something along those lines!

I don't have 15 hours to spend afk in an offline copy of the world.  I'm playing on an online realm that's all I can confirm the problem is there!

Extreme lack of squid in large bodies of water, and zero squid in a squid farm!

It's still a problem.  I always have to click the toggle button for the new craftable items to be added.

What device?  As in I'm on Windows 10 (PC)

Ok so we're two years later!  It seems neglected, and content that we paid for!  When can we expect a fix?

Well that is somewhat helpful information.   I already accounted for passive mobs, spawn caps, and used an elevated AFK position to try and get maximum results.  Zero squid is a sign that something is not right and I'm sure they did not intend the game to be this way.  If you want to just come out and say "Mojang is or isn't going to look into the problem or examine it themselves" instead of leaving me in the dark for 6 months, that would be so helpful; preferable when bugs are first reported because leaving people in the dark is no way to be productive or keep people happy!  And I know many other people feel this way!  I have had bug reports go for 5-6 years without any interaction, and my average time before a bug even gets recognized is about 6 months but usually longer!  What's the point of having this collaboration if the players aren't being acknowledged and bugs go years being unfixed?
