Annette, if you are trying to write a mcfunction file, just write the commands you want to be executed in a plain text document.
Seperate each command with a press of the enter/return key. Save the file as xxx.mcfunction and replace xxx with whatever you want the function to be executed as in game. IE: say you want a function that teleports you to spawn upon death, and want it to be called "spawndeathtp" than you would name it spawndeathtp.mcfunction.
All marketplace files are encrypted as the mod stated, you are most likely reading sources regarding java edition.
Average chance to get an enchanted book is 1-2 books per 100 catches.
Thats average though. Minecraft does not log past catches (to my knowledge) and as such. operates under RNG.
You could technically get 1000 catches and still not get a book. But you more than likely just have bad luck.
This is working as intended. Activator rails that are powered eject entities (players included).
Switch your activator rails for powered rails.
If you were trying to make rails that auto power powered rails upon a minecart traveling above them, you are looking for detector rails.
I experienced the same issue, but on a larger scale. All redstone contraptions were not working after being activated once. On said day, I reuploaded world and this fixed the issue.
Don't minimize the window, alt-tab to another window works fine.
Realms is designed so when you are not active, it disconnects you temporarily and then reconnects when you bring the window back up. You have to leave the window open for it to keep running.
