Does this bug also covers the mushroom blocks bug? You can use /setblock to create any variant of the red or brown mushrom blocks, but /give always gives metadata 0, ignoring the parameter.
I believe this resolution is incorrect, MC-88368 looks similar but describes another issue.
MC-88368 talks about how the player threw a potion at the Ender Dragon, the dragon wasn't affected by the potion (intended) and the area cloud stayed on the same place (also intended).
I can see how someone could mistake both as duplicates, but in MC-88368 we have no idea of what was the player expectation. Did they want the potion cloud to move? Affect the dragon?
In this MC-97844 there is a clear description of the problem and the expectation - entities below the potion cloud, that CAN be affected by potions, should be affected by it. It doesn't look like this is intended because it would make lingering potions less useful than splash potions.
Just noticed this on 1.9.2, I had a cleric harvesting and planting crops.
This bug is FIXED in 15w42a. Did many tests:
*Villager to Zombie:* Keep profession and custom name (name tag). May not keep age, I had one case where an adult librarian turned into a chicken-jockey librarian;
*Zombie to Villager:* Keep profession and name tag. Do not keep career level (how many trades you unlocked), trades or equipment. It's like you get a brand new villager of the same profession. They DO NOT keep sub-profession, so a blacksmith zombie could become an Armorer, Tool Smith or Weapon Smith, regardless of the original sub-profession;
This bug remains in 15w35e.
I think that the "Work as Intented" is incorrect, if the player wants to get the water from sponge he won't place a hopper below the furnace.
What about brewing stands? The hopper takes potions away before they are done brewing, that logic doesn't follow.
Is there some direct info from the devs?
Could not reproduce the issue, my game works fine with the creative menu. Can you provide the crash report?
Also, please, less caps and exclamations. I know you must be frustrated but posting all caps will just make your report get ignored and wont help fix anything.
Looks like the game is right (sac is correct in this case) - http://www.weblearneng.com/sac-sack
Made some tests and indeed, even if a charged creeper kills many mobs, only one head will be dropped.
From that report looks like MC-61059, fixed for future version. We just have to wait the next snapshot.
We need a crash report to identify the bug, can you upload the latest one?
I confirmed this behaviour on MC-61279, if you I right-clicked with an empty bucket on snow and the game crashed.
Can you provide the latest crash report file?
Another way to reproduce this bug is to summon a pillager and a snow golem. The Pillager will keep shooting even after the golem is dead.
Edit: tested in 18w43b
