Sorry, I was wrong in a previous message. 1.14 and 1.13.1 also have a little different and slow-stopping animation compared to 1.13.0.2.
Only problems I noticed in 1.13.0.2 are:
- invertion (camera tilts down when flying up and the crosshair makes ∩-like movement instead of ∪)
- direction-based behavior: no x-axis movement when facing east
- no jump tilt past 90° (relates to direction-based behavior)
So, if there’s no way to integrate the animation code from 1.12 (what I am doubt in), then 1.13.0 one should be polished and used
Btw, I noticed that if you record a video of walking on version 1.12 and then rotate it by 180 degrees, you’ll see the animation that is basically the same as in 1.14 (not 1.14.1 with adjustion). This can be done vice-versa too
So, the best solution would be taking the animation from 1.14 and just inverting it

@X1Crafts I have both system and app mode set to light. Tried to change the theme while in game, the border remains dark. Maybe it happens only for certain Windows versions (mine’s 25H2, latest release)
As I noticed, all attachable items (armor, bow, crossbow, shield, trident, spyglass) are affected

Someone above said that the jump tilt removal is a parity thing, but in Java it’s also a bug (which still wasn’t fixed). I really like how this animation felt, so it should be brought back
