This is odd in terms of these but may be since I often use cellular. But along with the custom skin packs bug, all custom skins switch to the default arm type even if slim armed originally upon restart. Custom skins also won't let me switch them for a new one within a server/realm/world with multiplayer enabled, claiming the device doesn't allow it even though it originally did and should still. Only way is on the game menu  or by turning on airplane mode to enter a world, which is a problem for when on a realm mainly. This also seems only on here and not on Windows upon testing it.  (iPhone 11     iOS 17.7.1      Ver.1.21.44)

1.19.70 did also fix this for me from what I can tell, but whatever they did with one of the few bugs in the hotfix 1.19.71 undid this and it's happening again.

What's strange about this bug is that under certain resource packs certain animations tend to return like water and lava, and in other cases things like prismarine, magma, and sculk. I'm just gonna guess it's a internal resource bug that depending on certain packs that are really for Addon resource support, some tend to render the blocks correctly again.

 

Update: This seems to become more of an issue the longer it goes on as sculk sensors, sculk shriekers, and both normal and soul fire are under effect after the latest update (1.19.10) dropped, and weirdly this wasn't a thing that seemed to happen in Preview for these blocks as far as I saw in there, so it's hard to tell if it's a rendering bug or internet-based bug of some sort.

09/02/22 - As I have access to the IOS Previews, as of the one that dropped yesterday being 1.19.30.25, the animated texture bug seems to be gone now, as I realized all animated sculk blocks working, fire, and all other animated blocks to function normally once again. In the changelog it is classified as "Fixed an issue with flowing Lava and Water textures not animating on some iOS devices", which makes me consider it was either those were the primary ones they were after and those were solved in the process, or it was fixed in the background as it was noticed to be linked to the water and lava being bugged. As this is a Preview and only one person confirming this, there is a chance this is just undone for a certain IOS version or something else, but if it does get confirmed by other iOS Preview users and is functioning this way in the official game in 1.19.30 once that is launched, then it'll hopefully mean this bug is potentially solved. Just hoping it stays like this and it does solve the issue for everyone once it's fully confirmed in the official version launch in the next few weeks whenever that is.

It does somewhat except in the current version and there is not a message saying the resources reset. It just puts the marketplace resource pack out of the active packs and back into the inactive packs but keeps any that aren't from the marketplace active.

Sadly it still is, I keep trying to look for if there is a main cause to it such as not enough storage, downloading the game again, and certain online options in the games options. Can't find any direct reason other than a few ways to get it to load without the issue happening, or avoid it all by logging out of Xbox Live or turning on the phones Airplane Mode. When I meant more stable I meant it as it seemed to not happen every single time, like it originally did before the patch update, and even less when dropping settings like render distance down to its minimum.
