Confirmed Issue on PS4

So apparently the issue fixed itself (???)

When I launched the game it just magically started working. All character creator skins aren’t loading in of course

Ok yes it is. I dunno why I have troubles logging in through pc remote play, I therefore count myself out of this issue

PS4. All updated, game, System Software.

Can’t log in with Error -9 being the issue. Will try the suggestions listed above tomorrow. Post will be edited as I go along

I always appear offline on PSN. May this be the reason why this happens?

Still getting error -9. No marketplace for me. Even reinstalling the game doesn’t work

Oh and unlinking doesn’t work - “Check your internet connection”??

*EDIT* Forgot to mention everything’s updated, System software and game. How can you fix this for both me and OP?

*EDIT 2* Also another side effect of this server connection issue is that your avatar (like PSN, etc) shows as broken texture

Apparently it’s specific to my psn, iOS doesn’t show it? iOS can use marketplace, items from it. But not the PS4 :/

Can’t even unlink accounts, only sign in and out (then again that would throw another error about trying to sign in but failing)

Just pinged Support on email hoping they fix this

Also doesn’t load up character creator appearances. + the “Failed to load character #” is still present so I have to be a default skin

After a while the game finally decided to load the skin packs

Nothing shows

I can finally join Cross Platform games!

Just no marketplace. Is there a fix incoming?

Can’t access the marketplace. I have the ability to unlink my account, but can’t browse the store.

Which means no skin switching!

I am FINALLY able to log in!!! Joy!!! (Now waiting to “Microsoft Account Connecting...” This updates when that updates)

Edit: Spoke too soon. Signing in takes absurdly long. At least my Xbox GT now shows up

PS4 - PSN Online ID FearfulWarpII. Game updated to latest version.

I could not access the Marketplace, so I signed out of my Microsoft account. (Game showed a warning about not being able to play with cross-platform friends)

I then tried to sign in, and lo and behold, “this account that I’m trying to use is already connected to another PlayStation Network account”... my account!

The worst thing is, I can’t unlink it through anywhere. (Unless I’m missing something.)

I found that resetting the password for the email associated with the Xbox GT ScoffingBarley3 worked before, but not now...

Plastic Pack is 0KB and refuses to download.

Also a broken texture pack which seems to be persistent even if I delete it. “Unable to find manifest in pack”

Storage/Resource Packs don’t show the broken pack.

Still happening in PS4 update 2.00.

Which also breaks texture packs. Plastic pack now shows 0KB instead of 4MB. But nice to see a major performance boost when launching the game!

I had this too! (0.15 build 2)

From the wiki:

"A skin will only allow solid color; transparency is not allowed on the skin file except on the second layer, which is transparent by default; playing offline, pixels can be left free resulting in "holes" in the skin."

In the PC version, if playing offline you can make some parts of the skin transparent. This might not apply to PE.

EDIT: "Non-transparent skin prevents issues with completely transparent skin users "haunting" other players." (see pictures) Even though I experimented with an armless skin...
