The new update is overall extremely buggy, it pretty much broke the entire game in so many different ways. How did this even pass quality control?
I can confirm this; after restoring all of my lost data due to the messy broken update, I noticed that most of the packs were gone even after restoring them. I had to re-download each one manually, and after applying them to a world they seem to randomly remove themselves at random intervals. Additionally, you can only download packs if the game is closed so it seems.
It's been a whole month and this extremely important issue still hasn't been fixed, nor acknowledgd since. Are the moderators on hiatus or something?
“impossible to change without large architectural changes?” The code is literally right there, this was a functioning feature that has been broken by an update. I suppose this is just not on the devs' radar then.
It's been a couple of weeks and I still haven't even got a response. The fact that this has been an issue for so long is worrying, the fact that no one's answering is even more worrying.
Any updates on the matter?
2025 and can confirm that this is still an issue. The capes appear just fine on the legacy edition, but not on bedrock edition.
This honestly doesn't seem like intended behavior, and even if it is it's an unreasonable one. Why would they remove such a useful feature?
How am I supposed to know that it's really a duplicate if there's no link attached?
@[MCQA] jKakub the video that OP attached to the post is probably too low resolution to see the issue. Take a look at my recording to see just how bad it is.
Hi, I'm having the same issue. I can confirm that changing the framerate doesn't work; as a matter of fact, it makes it even worse. See the video I have linked to see just how bad it is (I have a 60hz screen and I set the frame cap to 60 FPS)
What? Where is the duplicate?
It's been a few months and this still hasn't been fixed.
Hi, sorry for the late response I kinda forgot about this thread. I tried pinging you but I wasn't able to since I apparently can't tag any mod or admin whatsoever, you guys should probably work on that! Anyways, the slider for me only appears in recent updates, I suppose it was automatically fixed when most graphical settings were moved in the “fancy options.” Still, I tried putting the limit to 60 FPS like intended, but somehow that causes even more tearing. Do keep in mind that my display has a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
Can confirm that this affects the latest official release as well.
Just came here from my own ticket that was marked as a duplicate, apparently they're already tracking this issue. I guess it is up to Mojang to decide if this is worth their time.
