I was successful in downloading my world from the realm, finally, after 2 years. Below are the steps I took to finally get a successful download.

This is for Xbox One X, Minecraft Version v 1.17.40.

First, make sure your console is up to date with the latest version of Xbox, which is currently out as of this October.

I started by going to Minecraft game and selecting “Manage game and add-ons”. Then, I selected “Uninstall All”.

This is going to remove the Minecraft game and all of your saved worlds. Which means, you will lose anything not saved on the realm server.

Once the game, saved games, resources packs, etc. we’re removed, I restarted the Xbox completely. No fast boot up, a complete power down.

Once the Xbox was back up and running, I launched “My Files Explorer” App by Marcelo de Souza, available in the Microsoft Xbox Store. I already had this app installed from before. I don’t remember if there is a cost for it. I have no an affiliation with this app or it’s developer.

Once “My File Explorer” is downloaded and launched. I selected “Isolated Storage” to the left. Under the “This Device” tab. Then I selected, “Packages” from the top of the screen next to “Local”.

Once in This Device/Local/Packages scroll down to “Microsoft.MinecraftUWPConsole_(some letters and numbers)” and hit start to get the menu while it’s selected/highlighted and choose “delete”.

Restart Xbox as a complete power down. No fast boot up.

Once Xbox has restarted, download Minecraft from the Xbox Store. Once it’s downloaded, start the game.

Give everything the time to load. Don’t rush it. Everything has to sync.

Once, Minecraft, has fully launched and loaded go to your realm and download your world. Again, give it time and don’t rush it. Sometimes the downloading progress bar disappears. This is normal. BE PATIENT. DONT RUSH IT. WALK AWAY FROM IT, if you have to.

Once I got the successful download notification, I launched the world. The only things missing were my thrown tridents in the farms. (No worries, I’ll replace them later). Now I know my world is safe, I did, yet another, FULL POWER DOWN. Once the Xbox was up and running, I launched, Minecraft and reentered the world again. Everything looked fine.

Now, I selected the realm and deleted it for it’s final goodbye. My saved, working game is no longer part of the realm service.

I hope this helps someone.Let me know if you got a successful download.

10/7/21 - Bedrock - Xbox - 1.17.34

Unable to download world

”You are almost out of storage space! MINECRAFT has restricted access to this feature until YOU clear up additional storage space.”

Xbox Space available: 250 GB

Minecraft storage used 0 kb

No saved games, no packs or downloaded marketplace content, nothing being used what so ever

xbox formatted, only Minecraft installed, wifi, Lan, mobile, iOS, all fail to download from MOJANGS Realm service. My owned content is being withheld with or without intent.

@Scott Mooney.

No. Removing any and all stored data DOES NOT resolve the issue. All saved games, resource packs, behavior packs, Minecraft market place downloads can be removed and it DOES NOT solve the issue. Formatting your whole Xbox to factory settings and only downloading Minecraft and absolutely nothing else DOES NOT fix the issue.

1.14.60 Xbox one

I’m also having this issue. Over 300 GB available of free space. Doesn’t matter what device I am logged into (Xbox, iPhone, iPad, etc)

Im still paying for the realm and if I close/cancel the realm I lose my world at this point in time.

Unable to download my realm on bedrock for Xbox one.

Same thing happening to me as well. They were stuck in a chest then I broke the chest and then got stuck in my inventory. Saw a comment about dying over hoppers to remove them from inventory. It was the only way.
