Is there any action on this? The nether portals always crash my world, leave me in the nether loading screen or put me at my overworked coordinates in the nether. The question has to be asked if there are any checks completed when releasing updates. I am luck that my worlds are backed up to the cloud. This world I have had for four years. Come on Microsoft, show us you are up to the task

Hi there, yes guardians spawned naturally. They were spawning in the enclosed area while I was building the floor before I drained it. Yes I made all of the changes in the comments including my y coordinate to y 81, used a slab instead of the trap door, glass instead of the chest and individually powered the dispensers when testing the mechanics of the farm it all worked according to plan from a red stone power and device perspective.
I actually did talk to the creator of the video - my comments and his reply are now in the comments of the video. I took his advice and placed blocks under the build at the spawning locations all the way down to the ocean floor (through the monument), though in some instances not possible as open ocean all the way down to a magma block field. While I was completing this I noticed the guardians spawning. It looked like they may have actually been trying to spawn in the correct locations but were glitching out. So then I buried the ice and blocked up under the spawning locations under the build. This has mostly prevented the guardians from spawning under neath, though there are still a few and now the build is mostly working as intended with the occasional guardian spawning underneath.
In the drops acquired from the guardians, from a fish perspective, it is only cod. As the guardians are being killed in trident killers, placed by me, should there be other fish also dropped?
I actually think this bug relates to a previous bug I have which is still open where mobs are glitching outside enclosed builds

Yes, mine was marked as resolved in one of the linked cases. This is definitely not resolved in 1.18.31 BDS-16889. Same issue still occurring
Hi there, well done on the fix. It has fixed most of the problem and I am hoping that better reliability, lag and block interactions are still part of further updates. While it is better than it was, I would not call it 100% resolved, more like 90%. I still have significant lag with interactions with chests, crafting tables and mining/placing blocks. I note the reason mainly specified was large volumes of mobs - while it is true that I am at my base which has a mob farm, this is currently happening while the mob farm is not activated (it is at Y200). I actually think the problem relates to a large volume of red stone devices - I have a large item sorter which I believe, in conjunction with blocks interactions with hoppers to be a significant factor. My issue is a single player world with this problem and all the others. There must be a massive hotfix coming
In addition to what every one else has conveyed, this problem also seems to stop and despawn all hopper carts
I have been tracking this for well over a year now. It seems this issue is either not being taken seriously, very low on the current list of bugs or simply is now part of the game. Some feedback from Minecraft would be gratefully received by all I am sure
