Can confirm, even on realms, openchat button does not appear while in bed unless another player is within loaded chunk area, like its proximity based. An unwanted feature.

this report comes up first when searching, and i have the same issue. this is extremely frusturating, and needs fixed fast. using samsung galaxy s23 ultra, with lite-on usb keyboard and mouse via usb hub and otg, on latest android and minecraft versions.

when a notification pops up, or chat is opened up, or searching in crafting recipes, or typing in anvils, the spacebar gets disabled, and jump is only possible by pressing alt+space, or by closing minecraft, clearing recent apps, disconnecting keyboard, waiting atleast 45 seconds, then relaunching minecraft, and then reconnecting devices.

This bug definitely breaks a lot of builds. It makes translating builds from java to bedrock quite difficult.
