the crash report i attached does contain my username. so i marked it private. i don’t know how to recreate this, just that i got this .txt file after the crash that randomly happened.

I was playing just regular survival hard mode minecraft. no mods or commands in my 100% vanilla world.
Also the one that got stuck wasn’t carrying a banner; it was one of the other pillagers in the visiting group.
In 1.21.5 Pre-Release 1;
After I went back to the title screen after dying; I was going to create another world but then a game crash occured. the describtion in the launcher read:
Cannot read field "b" because "$$3" is null
I see a patch already in the notes for 1.21.5 Pre-Release 2; hopefully it works.
I just shared this as I did not have a world loaded anymore; as I was navigating between menus at the title after dying when the crash occured for me.
I’m using a Asus Laptop (plugged-in) with a 11th Gen Intel i7-11370H CPU and a NVIDIA 3060 RTX GPU.
Same, my character still has it equipped on my Nintendo Switch, but it is gone from my creator. I can't seem to find the cape pack in the market on my switch either.
So I guess I got to make sure I don't unequip it, until the cape pack reappears.
