I have to disagree with that because:

+The graph scale goes up until 320, but the space between 256 and 320 is not used to represent any kind of ore generation.

+If the distribution did continue upwards, mojang would've probably explicitly stated it to avoid misinterpretation of the graphs.

you're saying that you bought minecraft in the microsoft store, then i'm assuming you bought the Bedrock edition of the game, not the java edition. These versions are different, so if you bought Bedrock edition, you can't play java edition and viceversa
