Hi there!! Here’s one of the resource packs I’ve tried. Simply extract it in your downloads folder and type the following command: "mklink /J "C:\Users\[Your user]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks\Ice Cream Test" "C:\Users\[Your User]\Downloads\Ice Cream Test". This will create a junction of the folder in your resource packs.

Normally this would show the junction in your resource packs list, but with this this snapshot it doesn’t. Hope this helps!

I can also confirm that it happens to both Directory Symbolic Links and Directory Junctions.

The way to create a junction is with the following command:
mklink /J "C:\Users\[Your user]\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\resourcepacks\[Name of your pack]" “C:\[location of the resource pack]“

The allowed_symlinks.txt doesn’t seem to be able to fix this issue either.

It looks like some of these were cropped to selection, some where untouched while creating them and the friends button itself was ripped from Bedrock 😛

Most of them are easy to fix, as they fit into the 15x15 grid all of the other icons use. The bug is 13x13, player reporting is 15x14, social interactions is 20x20 (but with a lot of empty space), and friends is 16x16. The friends one would need the most work, as it fills the entire space.

The easiest way to fix it is to make the sides 2 wide instead of 3 and move down Steve’s head by one pixel, though you still will miss out on seeing a bit of Steve’s nose unfortunately.

Hi!

By the looks of it, this issue seems to be a LOT worse when using Vulkan. I’ve made two screenshots with the system specs enabled on the latest version, one using OpenGL and one using Vulkan. Since they’re block entities, a performance hit is to be expected, but it seems to be quite a bit extreme on Vulkan 😛

Hope these screenshots help!!
